The basic activities in provision of day care service are provided for by Decree No. 505/2006 Coll., by which some provisions of law on social services are implemented, including maximum amount of payment for provision.

Day care service is provided to the inhabitants with health handicap and the seniors who are not able to do the necessary works in the household. The citizens have the possibility to select the provider of day care service, including particular acts. The task of day care service is by ensuring systematic day care to enable the inhabitants in need to have calm home in their own household.

Day care service consists in driving home or bringing dinner, purchases and discharging things, common cleaning, help with hygiene, washing, ironing of bed linen and personal linen and is provided on the basis of a contract between the provider and the user.
