The Housing Policy Commission (KBP) discusses and assesses applications for provision of flats and flat substitutes and elaborates opinions on them as background material for their approval by the Council. In the assessment of the applications the Housing Policy Commission follows the valid “Principles of letting flats for lease entrusted to Municipal District Prague 10 and flats from the quota of the Municipal Authority of the Capital of Prague” (in Czech).

The opinion of the Housing Policy Commission takes account of the total number of free flats and flat substitutes that are at the disposal of Municipal District Prague 10 at the time of assessment of a particular application and of the content of the application. As necessary, the Housing Policy Commission performs local inquiry for the purpose of verification of data necessary for decision-making.

The Housing Policy Commission assesses applications to selection procedures within the framework of announced public tenders for conclusion of contract of lease of flats for the adaptation, flats with repurchase of claim and flats with above-standard parameters and elaborates opinions on them as background material for their approval by the Council. In the assessment of the applications for selection procedures the Housing Policy Commission follows the valid “Principles of letting flats for lease entrusted to Municipal District Prague 10 and flats from the quota of the Municipal Authority of the Capital of Prague” and Annex No.1 to the Rules of Procedure of the Housing Policy Commission for the assessment of selection procedures for the lease of flat on the basis of performance of building arrangements in the flat.

The Housing Policy Commission discusses and takes opinions on other applications that relate to the flat problems for the discussing of which it was asked (they are applications with the exception of applications for provision of flat and applications for selection procedures). The Housing Policy Commission discusses and submits to the Council proposal of changes of the “Principles of letting flats for lease entrusted to Municipal District Prague 10 and flats from the quota of the Municipal Authority of the Capital of Prague“.
