The Commission for Regeneration of Monuments (KRP) discusses and prepares applications for an allowance from the state budget in the Programme of Regeneration of Municipal Conservation Areas and Zones announced by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic every year.

The Commission proposes the distribution of financial means from the state allowance among the applying applicants and submits that proposal to the Council. The Commission proposes financial co-participation of the Municipal District in the regeneration of monuments in the ownership of foreign subjects and submits that proposal to the Council. The Commission participates in discussing proposals for repair and reconstruction of significant objects in the ownership of the Municipal District.

The Commission supervises effective use of allocated financial contributions. The Commission discusses proposals for registration of objects in the list of real property cultural monuments and monitors, or urges the filed proposals. The Commission gives its opinions on reconstructions, re-building and new construction in the municipal conservation zone, or otherwise valuable localities.
