The Control Committee (KoV) acts on the basis of the control activity plan approved by Municipal District Board (in the other cases the consent of Municipal District Board is always necessary in advance). It controls the fulfilment of the resolutions of Municipal District Board and Municipal District Council.
It controls the observance of legal regulations by the other Committees and by the Authority of Municipal District Prague 10 in the field of independent competence. It fulfils other control tasks that it is charged with by Municipal District Board (§ 78 para 5 let. c) of law No.131/2000 Coll. (in Czech), as amended, on the Capital), or by Municipal District Council.
