The Committee for the Environment, Cycling Paths and Cleanliness of the Municipal District (VŽC) deals during its talks, especially, with control and development activity in the field of maintenance of public verdure areas and children playgrounds under the management of the Municipal District. Further, it performs supervision of the accomplishment of cleaning of public areas and discusses materials in the field of improvement of cleanliness of public areas and ecological education connected with it. At the same time, discussed from the part of that Committee are conceptual materials in the field of development of cycling transport in the territory of Prague 10. Within the framework of its activity the Committee also supervises the drawing of financial means from the Municipal District budget for the field of the environment. Controlled are, especially, the justification of drawing of individual expenses and their overall purposefulness for the benefit of the Municipal District interests in the field of the environment.
