Modernization of the Premises and Equipment of Basic Schools established by Municipal District Prague 10 for ensuring Universal Development of the Personality of the Pupil
The submitted project will contribute significantly to the improvement of quality of basic schools in Municipal District Prague 10 with regard to modern technical background and extension of offer of attractive leisure time activities for the children of Municipal District Prague 10 of all age and social groups. At the same time, the accomplishment of the project will contribute to an increase of attractiveness of Municipal District Prague 10 in relation to improvement of quality of the background of the area of the schools and their use also for out-of-school activities, namely, both by the pupils and children, and by adult citizens of this Municipal District. From the point of view of the citizens of Municipal District Prague 10 and the surroundings, with regard to the establishment of larger integrity between the school and the surrounding civic base the possibilities will extend of spending leisure time in active manner, namely, especially, in the fields of culture and sport. The accomplishment of the project will create significant synergic effects in the field of basic education in Municipal District Prague 10 that could bring about also an increase of attendance of basic schools in this Municipal District. By its orientation the accomplishment of the project links up to the effort of Municipal District Prague 10 for an improvement of the technical condition and equipment of all school buildings by which it is linked to the projects of reconstruction of basic schools that were accomplished in the past, e.g., the Reconstruction of the surface of playgrounds and their equipment with minor sports equipment at basic school Švehlova. From the material point of view the programme links to the programme declaration of Municipal District Council Prague 10, namely, by support of improvement of quality of conditions for education and financing of investment undertakings and repairs in school buildings. The subject of the project is the reconstruction of the existing, unsatisfactory both due to the technical and safety reasons, premises of some basic schools and, in parallel, the building up of new, modern premises for ensuring universal development of the personality of the pupil that would comply with the current standards laid on modern basic school. In particular, it is the reconstruction of the gymnasiums at basic school Brigádníků 510/14, basic school Olešská 2222/18 and basic school U Roháčových kasáren 19/1381; reconstruction of the runner oval at basic school Olešská 2222/18, building up of a new climbing wall at basic school U Roháčových kasáren 19/1381; reconstruction of training kitchen at basic school Břečťanová 2919/6; strengthening of the main electricity connection at basic school Gutova 1987/39, building up of new premises for community centre KRUH at basic school Hostýnská 2/2100; building up of a class for teaching languages at basic school Jakutská 2/1210; building up of specialized classes with the orientation at natural sciences and humanities at basic school U Vršovického nádraží 950/1; building up of fitness centre at basic school V Rybníčkách 1980/31 and building up of information centre at basic school V Rybníčkách 1980/31.
The purpose of the project is the overall improvement of quality of conditions for universal development of the personality of the pupil, namely, through an improvement of technical condition of selected school buildings, modernization of equipment and improvement of quality of offer of school and out-of-school activities.
Municipal District Prague 10 is ready for co-financing in the amount of 15% also for pre-financing in the amount of 6.5%. Co-financing and pre-financing will be ensured from the budget of Municipal District Prague 10. From the operational point of view, with regard to the outputs of the project, the sustainability is expected of more than 10 years. The stage of accomplishment of the project is planned from January, 2009 to December, 2010, i.e. 24 months (from the signature of the Contract).
The overall budget of the project is ca CZK 27 200 446.-, financial co-participation of Municipal District Prague 10 is 15 %, i.e., CZK 4 080 067.-.
Financial co-participation (15 %) was approved by resolution No. of Municipal District Board No. 5/89/2007 of December 6, 2007.
