ensures the necessary administrative works and works of organizational character for the Head of the Section, further, works as independent official in charge in the section of communications

The Section is the road administration authority (SSÚ)

• The Section is the road administration authority (SSÚ), exercises state administration in transferred competence in the field of ground roads (road management), including special building authority within the extent of law No. 13/1997 Coll. – on ground roads, as amended, Statute of the Capital of Prague and law No. 183/2006 Coll. – the building law and in the field of transport by providing for local and temporary adjustments of traffic on ground roads and charging of persons entitled to stop vehicles according to law No. 361/2000 Coll., on traffic on ground roads, as amended and Statute of the Capital of Prague;
• further, it performs activity of the manager of local fee for use of public space according to law No. 565/1990 Coll., on local fees, as amended, and Decree of the Capital of Prague No. 24/2003 Coll. of the Capital of Prague, on local fee for use of public space, as amended;
• monitors the state and development of underground networks (water lines, gas lines, heat lines, electric, sewerage and telephone liens), public lighting and cable TV in coordination with the Municipal Authority of the Capital of Prague.
