Section of State Social Support of the Authority of Municipal District Prague 10 is established by the Council of Municipal District Prague 10 for the exercise of state administration in transferred competence in the field of state social support. The Section fulfils the following tasks:

• It ensures the exercise of state administration in the field of state social support.

Place of work of the state social support in 2009 - change

At the end of October the House of Deputies of the Czech Republic approved an amendment of law No. 117/1995 Coll., on state social support. That amendment removes, apart from other, the existing organizational exception in the exercise of the agenda of the state social support in Prague.

Since January 1, 2009 the Prague places of work of state social support pass over from the authorities of municipal districts to the Labour Office of the Capital of Prague. Nothing changes for the recipients of the benefits of state social support in Prague 10. They will continue to discharge their applications at the same place of the Authority of Municipal District Prague 10 as till now, namely, during the existing working hours, at their counter workers, with maintaining telephone lines. The new specification of the place of work will be noticed by the Clients in official decisions and other written materials only.
