Control Section (OKO) ensures, through the department of finance and internal control the performance of financial specialized and qualified control and audit activity for the need of the Board of Municipal District, Council of Municipal District and management of the Authority of Municipal District and elaborates specialized background materials for their talks. On the basis of charging by the management of the Authority of Municipal District it performs internal controls oriented at observance of working regulations.

The activity of the department is provided for, especially, by Law No. 320/2001 Coll., on financial control in public administration and, further, QMS documentation:

OKO through the department of complaints keeps central records of received complaints, anonyms and petitions of the inhabitants, supervises their discharging by the relevant Sections, coordinates the relevant Sections according to their material competence and investigates serious, repeated complaints and filings. In case of need, it cooperates with the bodies active in criminal procedure and performs required investigations for them.
