The new web has several ways of search available, so that each visitor might find the required information as quickly as possible. Available are fulltext search, navigation (citizens, entrepreneurs, visitors), search in life situations and traditional web map. It is by fulltext search that the searched term might be found in all articles and documents. Contributing to easier orientation is also an improvement of graphic layout, available is also the text version that is intended, e.g., for the vision handicapped citizens. New is the orientation at mobile devices, such as PDA's or mobile telephones. The visitors of the pages may use the service of sending news, they may also subscribe for news or contributions in discussion forums by means of RSS channel. By means of a special programme or web reader (reader.google.com, Seznam and others) and some mail clients it is possible “to collect” current news in RSS format easily and comfortably directly to own computer. In cooperation with the Westminster company the system of assessment of subjects is accomplished. There the visitors may assess the individual selected articles by means of the so-called StarMe service.
The content of the web is divided into four separate information parts. The first part is oriented primarily at the citizens of the municipal part – they will find information there from the field of transport, living, the environment, culture and sport, playgrounds, cycling paths, important contacts, maps and calendars of events. They have also the possibility to download applications and forms in electronic form. The second part includes more detailed information about the authority, including different documents for download, forms, resolutions and guides in solving life situations at the office (the citizen may “prepare” there in advance for the visit of the stone-house office). The third part makes the visitors acquainted with Prague 10 – apart from other, there are maps there, the history and photographic gallery. In the fourth part there is information important for entrepreneurs and investors. The frequently required services and information include further the so-called MMS suggestions (monitoring of the process of solution of suggestions for the cleanliness and problems of the environment), information about the course of privatization, displaying of the state of discharged filed applications for identity cards and passports.
